At Fresno Smile Makeovers, we are at the forefront of dental aesthetics. Our team of highly skilled professionals, led by Dr. Sam Namdarian DMD, and Dr. Ellen Cho DDS, believes in a customized approach to enhance your natural beauty and personality by tailoring your smile. We collaborate closely with you and our dedicated lab technicians throughout the process, ensuring your preferences and goals are met to create the smile you have always longed for.
From veneers and teeth whitening to orthodontics and more, we offer a wide range of treatments to achieve your dream smile.
- Porcelain Veneers: Veneers are thin, porcelain shells designed to fit your unique smile and face. They are an excellent long term option to help correct discolored teeth, chipping, and other imperfections, giving you a beautiful smile to enjoy for years to come.
- Composite Veneers: Composite Veneers are a resin based alternative to Porcelain Veneers. They are still designed with your smile and face in mind, with minimal to no reduction of the teeth. A tooth colored resin is bonded directly to the tooth and designed in the mouth during your visit. Composite Veneers are a great cost-effect alternative to Porcelain Veneers, however they may need to be replaced more frequently throughout the years.
- Teeth Whitening: Our office is proud to offer Colgate Optic White as our in-office whitening solution. Experience swift, sensitivity-free results as we skillfully combat stains and discoloration, leaving you with a much brighter smile.
- Dental Implants: Dental implants are durable, natural-looking tooth replacements that seamlessly integrate into your smile, restoring functionality and enhancing overall oral well-being.
Q&A with Dr. Namdarian DMD
How is Dentistry like art?
Cosmetic dentistry is an art just like a painting or a sculpture. I need to see and know the end result before any work is started. After collecting all the dental records such as x-rays, digital scans, photos, and impressions, a wax up model is designed and produced based on the facial structure, lip positions, and smile line. The wax-up model is used as a blueprint to make the provisional models. Cosmetic dentistry is mainly involved in the appearance of teeth and enhancement of smile. The emphasis is on the art of dentistry along with the science.
What drew you to Cosmetic Dentistry?
I love dentistry. Everyday is a new opportunity for me to understand my patients’ concerns and needs by talking with them and visualizing the outcome. Cosmetic dentistry has helped me listen better, pay more attention to my patients, be more sensitive to what my patient likes or dislikes, and gives me a better understanding of how I can enhance the total health of my community. It makes a better smile for the patient and a better me as a healthcare provider and gives me more strength to keep up with the high level needed for dental skills.
What is the first step in getting a great new smile?
We will schedule a cosmetic consultation where we will attentively listen to our patients’ main cosmetic concerns and we work to achieve their wishes. Each case starts with a complete photography of the patient’s teeth. I review the pictures with them and always try to give them alternative treatments that they can choose from.
